PERFORMING ARTS & MUSICAL THEATRE CLASSES IN LANGLEY & NORTHOLT

SING | DANCE | ACT | GROW

At Stroud Theatre Arts, our weekly performing arts classes give children and young people the opportunity to develop their skills across the three core disciplines of singing, dancing and acting.

With classes in Langley and Northolt, our training is designed to grow with our students, from a first introduction to performing arts at age 3 through to more advanced musical theatre training for older and more experienced performers.

Whether your child simply loves to perform, wants to build their confidence or has ambitions to take their training further, there is a place for them at Stroud Theatre Arts.

MORE THAN REHEARSING FOR A SHOW

Our core classes aren't about spending every week rehearsing the same routines for the next show.

Students experience material from different musicals, styles and eras, continually developing as all-round performers.

Our main musical theatre sessions include dedicated training across singing, dance and drama, helping students develop areas including:

Dance technique • Vocals & harmonies • Acting • Stagecraft • Musicality • Performance technique • Creativity • Confidence

As students progress through STA, the training develops with them, introducing more advanced technique, individual feedback, audition skills and an understanding of the professional performing arts industry.

FIND THE RIGHT CLASS

Ages are a guide rather than a rule.

Every young performer develops differently. We consider age alongside experience, ability and confidence when deciding which class will give each student the best environment in which to thrive.

As students progress, we can also provide guidance and support for those who want to take their training further, including young performers who are considering applying for professional performing arts college training.

Minis

Ages 3–5 | Explore. Create. Perform.

A fun and encouraging first introduction to performing arts.

Through songs, dance, drama, storytelling and creative play, our Minis begin developing confidence and essential performance skills while discovering the joy of singing, dancing and acting.

It's still energetic, enjoyable and encouraging, but with greater opportunities to develop as a well-rounded young performer.

Alongside continued singing, dance and drama training, students receive more tailored feedback and are encouraged to deepen their technique, creativity and understanding of the different areas of theatre.

It's an important stage in helping young performers recognise their strengths, challenge themselves and prepare for the more advanced training offered in Seniors.
